Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation

Unwanted fat is taken from the thighs or abdomen, purified in a centrifuge so that only clean fat remains, and grafted to the breast — reducing one area while adding volume to another. Where needed, platelet-rich plasma from your own blood is mixed in to support graft survival.

The aim is not size alone: hollowing in the upper breast and asymmetry between the two sides are corrected at the same time. Fat is placed in fine layers across several tissue planes, which is what reduces the risk of cysts, calcification or oil formation.

Enough fat is taken at the first operation to freeze and store for the second, which is a short top-up of around fifteen minutes.
