The laser and settings are chosen for your skin type and for the colour and depth of the ink. A dual-wavelength system reaches pigment deep in the skin, and energy is adjusted to the skin's condition to limit pain and side effects. It is used on coloured tattoos and on semi-permanent brow and eyeliner work as well as body tattoos.
Treatment is repeated every one to two months; the number of sessions depends on the site and on the depth and density of the ink, and is set at consultation.
Swelling and redness can follow, and blisters occasionally form — contact the clinic if they do. Scabs are left to fall naturally, and sunscreen is used outdoors.
Send your dates and your concern. Consultation is conducted in English, and a plan with an itemised quote follows the assessment.
