The forehead lift performed here releases the muscle that pulls the brow down (the corrugator) while preserving the sensory nerves. Dissection is carried down to the brow bone, and the brow and upper lid are lifted with it, so forehead lines, frown lines between the brows and upper-lid heaviness are corrected in one operation.
The incision is a hidden one of about 1 cm inside the hairline, placed to avoid damaging hair follicles. The forehead, temples, brows and glabella are then released and fixed.
The course includes a second visit for stitch removal.
